I have to admit that I am fascinated by the Nicole Kidman/Tom Cruise marriage. It is so much more interesting than the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes marriage. But I am curious about how (if it is true) Nicole can stand to be so far away from her children with Tom.
I get so tired of seeing the word “adopted” in front of the word “children” when I read about Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s children. Why does the word “children” have to be qualified? We don’t see the qualification before or after the word children in the cases of surrogacy, invitro fertilization or biology. For instance, “so and so’s surrogate child” or “so and so’s child by invitro fertilization” or so and so’s “biological child.” The people who write and speak the stories obviously have never parented an adopted child. If so then they would stop denigrating adoption. Parenting isn’t about how babies are conceived but how babies are loved because that’s Evie’s Way, Baby!
